This month I selected some of our branch office presidents. Gerhard and Michel are the Ran Fans of the Month and after you read about them you’ll see why. Thanks guys, keep up the good work! We are proud to have you on our team

Gerhard: It is beautiful that you selected me as Ran Fan Of The Month. Now my story how I came to know Miranda.
In Germany it is not simple to came on news of the country scene. Therefore I visited more frequently the site of cmt.com. I hear gladly songs of Leann Rimes, Katrina Elam, Faith Hill and Shania Twain. (Visited a concert from her in Stuttgart).
At the beginning of 2005 am on listening party with cmt.com and on Miranda I became attentive. Her voice inspired me immediately. I looked around Germany for that CD but I couldn`t find the CD in any shops. So I visited Ebay and there i found many CD`s of Miranda. I bought one immediately. On the search for more information I discovered Miranda’s fan site. There I experienced much over Miranda. I visited the forum and found many nice fans and friends. Two month later I joined the fan club. Thus I got also nice contact with some members, particularly with Greyhound (Christie). Christie has helped me to get many fan articles. She bought it and sent it to me then with the post. Particularly the dual Disc and tour tee, both signed by Miranda.
In the middle of 2005 I decided then to base the German fan club. At the same time I provided a web page to the fan club. Thus I try to make more well-known Miranda fans in Germany and Europe. Momentarily I have 10 members at the German Miranda Lambert Fanclub. I find this good for Germany.
Miranda is a very good singer, songwriter and performer. Her successes will go steeply upward. My largest desire is to meet Miranda personally. The day will come.
For special thanks, I would like to say Bev, she answers all questions from me. Without Bev my web site would not be so beautiful and informative. I wish further much success to Miranda. Her way will go right at the top. I will further support Miranda, so that she becomes still more well-known in Germany.

Bev: Just one look at Gerhard’s website and you’ll know why he was chosen as Ran Fan Of the Month. Not only does he take time to check in on the forum frequently but he has also created a beautiful Miranda website and maintains it well. He does this only to help promote Ran in his home country of Germany. Now here is the shocker: He has never even seen a live show or been able to meet Miranda. That is a true Ran Fan! I want to personally thank you, Gerhard, for being a great family member and promoter. We are proud to have you as our official German Fan Club President!

Easy to find, directly under the downtown Lindale water tower, the store is located in one of the oldest buildings in town, a rustic building once used as a barber shop. The store and fan club headquarters features Miranda Lambert T-shirts, CDs, DVDs, ball caps, posters and fan club memberships, as well as jewelry, belts, hats, boots and fashions in the style the young singer wears. Vintage country music fans will enjoy the “Haggard” bell, which visitors are encouraged to ring when they hear a Merle Haggard tune playing.“I want people to feel like they can come here and sit outside, bring their lunch to eat at the picnic tables and have a gathering place to listen to country music and visit with other country music fans,” said Beverly Lambert, the singer’s mother and Fan Club president. “Lindale doesn’t have any kind of attraction to boost tourism, and we hope this will attract folks from all over.” The store will sell soft drinks and bottled “Miranda Lambert” water

On the road again... Jul 4, 2006
It's festival time again folks. I am pretty sure we're playing every fair and festival from California to Maine this summer. Believe it or not, this is one of my favorite times of the year to play shows. Yes, it is usually sweltering but it's so exciting to look out my bus window in the mornings and not know what to expect. It keeps it interesting for us. I'm going to try to remember not to pass out though.
I am done with the new record officially but don't get too excited yet. It will be early next year before we release it. I can't wait. The first single off the new album will hopefully be out early fall. I am so proud of the way it all came together being that I had hardly anytime off to work on it. I guess that's the way it goes for your second record.
Gypsy is still doing great. She has been at Mom's for the past month having a blast being a "country girl" but it's time for her to hit the road with us again. She will be joining me for the West Coast run. Also, my mom and brother are coming to hang out for about a week. I am excited to spend some time with them. It's funny because the only way to see my friends and family is for them to come to work with me. But it makes it seem a lot less like work when you get to have fun too.
Dad is in Africa as we speak. I am so happy that he was able to fulfill his dream of going on a safari. He is going to bring me back a zebra skin. I can't wait. I'm sure he'll be telling the stories for the next 20 years!
Walter (aka: Waldo) has taken Dad's place as merch guy. Ya'll don't forget to make him feel welcome and don't be afraid to give him a hard time, we all do! That 's how we welcome new people!
